I have spent the last 3 hours trying to fix my mistake.

All my ID3 tags were perfect. The only problem was I wanted to change the "Album Artist" on all of them to the lead composer of the album. The song artist or "artist" Category was perfect and organized by ";" to show separate artist in windows and itunes.

Well foobar changed all my artist to the album artist only. So now I have to go back and add tons of artist to each song. Plus the album artist part screwed up anyway and just says various or chooses the first artist that was on that song. And my album art doesnt appear in itunes anymore after spending 2 hours on that.

Is there anyway I can convert my MP3 file names to my ID3 tags using foobar, media monkey. Before all this happened I organized my mp3 file names using foobar by (track. Artist - Song name)

Can I fix my mistake or do I have to go back and do them all?

Phew I figured out how to turn file names into ID3 using music match. Close one. Some titles are a little off but it's no big deal. My problem now is I get an error iF I try to edit the music tags outside the program and my album art won't work.

    You mean the mp3tag program?
Delete your library. Batch retrieve album art with mp3tag from amazon or something, then reimport your music to foobar2000.
