    i found a new application that lets u use gestures on your Synaptics touch pad , check the website http://www.uscrybe.com/learn.html , while installing u must be online and it takes around 5 min so be patient ,if the 3 finger tap didn't work on ur firmware version try the ctrl + shift + draw on ur pad , enjoy

    You used this with you DV5 I assume...lets see if it works with my DV7...

    yea i used it with the DV5 , but the multi touch didn't work ( 3 buttons click ) didn't work cause my hardware version is 6.5 i think , so i use the ctrl + shift + gesture

    I tried it and it did not install...wonder why that happened, it said that it supported Windows 7...heck it was almost 4 in the morning and I jsut had finished a Hard Rain session of Left 4 Dead 2...i will try it out again later today.
