    Hey,

The "Search" program that Windows uses (the standard thing) is not working for me.

It states "A file that is required to run Search Companion cannot be found. You may need to run startup."

What do you recommend me do, other than Reboot? I have a whole lotta files that I can't lose.. and I really don't want to transfer 90 Gigs of information onto a hard-drive.

    Thanks in advanced,
    HCanciano

EDIT: I'm using Windows Media Center

You will not lose files because of the Search function is going bad. It just looks for the file. Anyway you might have turned something off in msconfig that is causing the error. Take a look and see.

You might want the search function is servant salamander/total commander.
It's better than windows (I think)
I think "Search Companion" means that little yellow dog.
