Does anyone know how to get a second monitor to sleep independent of the primary monitor? I need a second monitor regularly throughout the day but would like to save power by having it go sleep or standby after a few minutes of inactivity. Manually powering off and on is not going to happen especially because I’d like this solution to get implemented at all workstations in my building.

    Some details:
    OS – Win7 Pro
Laptop is in dock with screen closed.
Dual external monitors set up in extended desktop configuration.
Most workstations have Quadro graphics cards (K1100M in my case).
I’ve looked in nView Desktop Manager and Windows Display settings; neither seems to offer my desired functionality.

Is there software that can make this happen? Management currently has an initiative to cut electricity by 5% in the building, and lots of people have second monitors so buying software would not be out of the question (though then I have to figure out the ROI).
