    Second XP user cant open Word

    Hi everyone. I just pieced together an old laptop. got a new HDD bought a new copy of XP and installed Microsoft office home and student 07. The second XP user cannot open Word. Everything else is available except for Word. Any thoughts? Please help. Thank you

    Cannot OPEN word, or the ICON is missing.

    What if you navigate to c:\program files\office.....and click the actual file not the icon in the start menu

    sounds like missing icon
