    Which software or software suite do you use on your notebook to stay efficient in terms of security and along to minimise the CPU and RAM load?

    1 - Firewall (is this really necessary?)
    2 - Anti-Spyware (monitoring or not?)
    3 - Antivirus (Real-time scan or not?)
    4 - Others (any?)

    For my part :

    1 - None!! I have a router. I switch to Mcaffe firewall if necessary.
    2 - Adaware scan once a 2-3 week. I Do not use real time monitoring
    3 - EzTrust. The best, period !!
    4 - None. It's enought :D

    Even through i have a router firewall, I still use Zonealarm Pro firewall and it blocks out whatever the router let thru
    I also run NOD32 antivirus
    Those 2 are always on startup.
    And this might be werid, but if i notice that there is something wrong with my computer, then i will scan with spybot and adware, other then that those programs rarely get used
