Like they have on android phones and all that, is there a program for windows which tells you what parts or usage of the laptop is draining the battery / using power (by percentage or whatever)?

Yes, there are a few applications out there. Here is one of the more popular ones: BatteryCare

BatteryCare is completely free, although I advise donating if you like it. BatteryBar is good to, author usually has a "pay what you want" sale, but it's worth $20 imho. It does a decent job of estimating battery drain if your battery doesn't report it.

I don't think either of these does what the OP is looking for: On Android devices, you can get a list showing the percentage of battery life that is consumed by each of the processes running on the system. I don't think there is any Windows software that does the same for a PC.

Appreciate the suggestions but as Pirx said, they're not exactly what I'm looking for. It'd be a shame if no-one's decided to make a program for this.

I think the issue is that this information is not readily available from the operating system. You can probably get some idea of a process' relative battery consumption by using ProcessExplorer (free download from SysInternals). There you can choose total CPU time as one of the display columns, to get the total CPU time that each process has consumed. That is only part of the story, but better than nothing.

Throttlestop and some other monitor program can show cpu usage in Whr, and you can guesstimate how much gpu use by looking at its spec and load. Total usage you can find in hwinfo or other battery monitor program.

Sorry answer is no, but android doesn't tell you per hardware anyways.

Wasn't sure if Battery Care did or not. Unfortunately, it is relative to the controller that monitors the battery and relays info such as charge cycles, wear level, etc.
