    Hey,
I am just wondering if i can sell my windows vista ultimate upgrade? It was only activated on my laptop. I am not sure about how this whole process works. Am i allowed to sell the upgrade? If so what should a starting asking price be about?

Offically since you activated it, no you cant sell it.

    But unoffcially yes :p

With vista being new tho, not sure if the info the new person puts in to activate it will be shut down or if it will install no problems.

Well technically no, and legally no.

Now, if you sell that upgrade you are technically putting your own foot in your mouth. You gave your XP license back to MS when you did that upgrade, so in theory you cannot activate XP again. I don't know for sure, but you might find yourself in a bind someday.

Just play it safe and don't do it.
