    Service pack 2 installation after 2 weeks reinstallation ?

    I reinstalled Vista on 19 november but only on 4 december got notice to install service pack 2 , is this normal ?

    That is normal that SP2 can come up late with Vista Automatic update.

    I've had this happen before, took a few days after re-installing Vista for the update to appear. If it happens again, you can just download whatever service pack or update from Microsoft and install it yourself.

    I have the installers for SP1 and 2 handy :) so anytime I do a clean instal they are donwloaded and available already.

    Saves a lot of time :)
