Before you answer, please, know what you are talking about, everything isn't so easy as you might think.
This two services;

http://www.theeldergeek.com/logical_disk_manager.htm
Do they need to be running for a regulare Dell Laptop should work? If you don't use the modem (dial-up) or using Windows built-in sharing service?
Have disabled a bunch of stuff and done this and that, after boot only 99mb of ram and 13 process (this includes the Taskmanager) is in use and the computer is faster then ever before, quick quick. I still am using Themes to make Windows a bit prettier though.

This really doesn't have anything to do with having a dell. Every user is different, so it really depends on your usage.
If you don't have a dial up, you should be able to set network connections without any consequences. Here is a site: http://smallvoid.com/tweak/winnt/service/mno.html#NETMAN
It gives you some things that will occur if you turn this service off.
As for the second service in question, I'm not 100% on it, but according to this site, if you have all NTFS/FAT32, then you can set it to manual. http://smallvoid.com/tweak/winnt/service/jkl.html#DMSERVER -
Seems like Networks connection maybe is good to have, feels like I do config the connections pretty often.
Logical disk manager is set to manuel, seems pretty cool to do so. I would like to disable it also, can't really see what negative effect it could have. But every site white info about the diffrent services saids that it at least should be att manuel.
Services that we need to have installed?
