This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Shall I disable the Multimedia Class Scheduler Service

    This service is started automatically in Windows, does it do any good or shall I disable it?

    PS: I have uninstalled Windows Media Player as I only use PotPlayer FTW (64-Bit)

    what ever doesn't harm you might, at some point, do good for you. disabling it prevents that good.

    disabling services does never help. that's a myth that might have had truth back in the days of xp.
