This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     ShortCuts in Windows.

    I just found out about pressing the ....

    Windows Key + M = Shows Desktop
    and
    Windows Key + Shift + M = Bring Windows back

    I will be using this shortcut alot :)

    I can't believe I didn't know that, so I did searched and found out that the Windows Key is the god of shortcut buttons.

    Windows Key + D is also desktop, but windows+shift+D does nothing

    When I first found out about Windows + L it was like a godsend!

    Been using it for 6 months now.

    But if you press winkey + D again, it brings the windows back up too, just like winkey+shift+M :)

    If I'm not wrong, I believe the Windows + M shortcut is for minimising all the windows, so its slightly different than "Show Desktop", but it has the same effect. I love shortcuts. It jyst makes everything just that little bit quicker, and more efficient.

    winkey + e = windows explorer, my favorite, used it for years, forgot the other since I rarely use them.
