I'm getting a new laptop for the first time in years.
Unfortunately, my usual enthusiasm is curbed by a) Microsoft forcing Windows 10 for all Coffee Lake and Ryzen systems, which could be worked around if not for b) The OEMs being uncharacteristically submissive to the point where there's no drivers for Windows 7/8.1.
That said, should I just install Windows 10 LTSB to at least spare myself from the semiannual headaches?

I've been running Windows 10 Enterprise for over a year now - not a single issue. I don't see a reason for all the drama and worry.

so my advice is just install whichever version of Windows 10 you want then use O&O ShutUp 10 to stop all the privacy invasion stuff -

Is there a Phoenix guide to tweaking and setting up O&O shutup?
