Is it okay to replace it now?

Its still a Beta version as far as I know.
Whether its "OK" - depends on you.
As long as you don't do anything sensitive like banking - in which case I would recommend to stay away from Betas - please.
You can always unistal it later on and reinstal 3.0.7 if you wanted to. -
Yeah like Detlev said, don't do anything serious on it. I've tested it out, pretty good stuff.

You can install it and running the same profile. The beta will not override the official version.
I have no issue with my banking online transactions, if the institutions support Firefox before - I am talking since FF2 - it will continue to do so.
Issues are currently limited to extensions and themes compatibility.
cheers ... -
Instead, why don't you use the 3.1 Beta 3 PORTABLE version from portableapps.com. Doesn't get installed to your pc and you can try it and test it out.
Should I replace Firefox 3.0 with 3.1b now?
