I have a Nvidia 8600M GT graphics card in my laptop(sager Np 2090), and i was wondering if i should update my driver version, currently version 101.08. I have never updated it , and i was wondering if a newer version will increase performance in my laptop, specifically video and video editing. I have been trying to find out were to download a new driver but i am unsure. I have checked sagers website and the version they have is 156.10 and nvidias site is 179.48 which is a beta. Also while searching i found laptopvideo2go.com but i am a little confused of what version to download. I want a version that will help with video and video editing but is also stable and wont cause problems. So, can someone recommend a version for me?

Yes, I think you should update your video card driver. I have the same card as yours, and more often than not, the new drivers bring better performance and a few small but significant stability/bug fixes. Try the latest WHQL certified drivers (182.08 right now).

definitely update your driver. 185.20 from laptopvideo2go or 179.48 from Nvidia's homepage should do the trick.
