    Should i upgrade to Vista?

    i have an asus F3Ja. it says its vista capable but i don't know if i want to upgrade it right now. i really want to try out vista... is there any problem that people generally experience when upgraded to vista? like slower computer browsing or stuff like that? thanks for the info.

    i would wait for official version, this way, more drivers would be included

    cool, welcome to the club then

    one thing for sure, i only notice great improvement in internet browsing, IE or FF

    I'd ignore it. Vista will be nothing but problems for most users, gaming and sound apps act differently, I've heard of all kinds of application compatibility problems... I'd be wary about Vista even after the first service pack. If you don't need it, don't break it.

    Like Pitabred said, if Windows XP does everything you need, don't upgrade to Vista.

    I know all too well about having the latest and greatest. My recommendation is, unless you're having trouble with your current configuration or you just like the new Aero interface, then make the upgrade. Otherwise, hold off a few months til the reviews come in.
