As the title says...start key + printscreen key to take a screenshot if anyone doesn't know.
Here's how I set mine up. Not any pinned directories at the moment, just the programs and apps I flip to the most, laid out how it makes sense to me:

Off the right side of the screen is my column for "Entertainment," featuring Netflix, Xbox Video, Pinball FX, Kindle, and Nook. For anything else I need, I just start typing to use the start screen search.

Print Screen key by itself no longer captures a screen shot? I wonder if Greenshot is compatible with Windows 8.

Don't think we'll see much variation here.

No offense but it's hard to do anything W8's aesthetic, it has all the pazazz of an HP notebook geared toward college freshmen.

killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
Yup, MS should have made it more customizable. At least add a custom wallpaper support. As far as I know you need a third party software to do that.

A lot of people have the blue/purple; I prefer the red:
I'll be honest, though, I only recently switched to Windows 8 so I haven't done much customizing and I still am pretty accustomed to mostly use the desktop to access programs, so my utilization of the Metro start screen is limited. But I do like Netflix app, and I use the Weather, OneNote, and Mail app frequently. -
I'm nosy that way.

I'm just scratching my head over all the rarely used, oddball apps people stick on their Start screen.
