This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    After fooling around with vista's sidebar I realised that simply most of the gadgets were useless.

    Now I'm curious to see what the notebookreview community brings to the table.

    I don't have any right now, but I like the ones that show the memory and cpu usage, especially in cores :D. Also digital clocks and battery meters have been some I used. And just for fun, my favorite is a Calvin and Hobbes slideshow! :p
