My Dad's Dell needs to have the bios flashed. To run the updaye it wants the computer logged into the admin account. How do I get it to show the admin login? Also would it be PW protected? If so is there a default PW?

    Thanks,

    Charley

You should be able to right-click on the BIOS flashing program and select "Run As.." and then run it under the permissions of the Administrator account. No need to fully enable the account.

No problem :) It's a new way of thinking about doing things (as far as Windows is concerned... Linux has done it forever), but it's much more secure than enabling the Administrator account.
