This occurs on random but frequently these past couple days, whenever I shut down my laptop, I get a reference error message 0x77ea392d and 0x77df5655. When that error occurs, my comp just hangs during shut down so I have to manually shut it off. When I start it back up, it says something about an error has occurred on svchost.exe. Any ideas?

    here's what you can do:

    1. uninstall window blinds.
    2. update your video card driver.
    3. reinstall window blinds.

I'm currently running on v93.71, when i updated last time to v97.92, it just gave me a black screen on my laptop with the 7900GS which gave me quite a bit of scare. The black screen appeared on the login screen so I'm a little scared to do it again since god knows what will happen. Any recommended drivers?

well if it's giving you black screen, then better stick with that old driver.

check your window blinds. the system info should have something like in the pic below. have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your WB?
