Anyone have a laptop with said feature? I have yet to see 1. Is this another feature that just never got popular?

    Here.

Yeah, SideShow was never widely adopted, although I have seen laptops with auxilary screens.

Dell oddly enough used this technology on the XPS 420 Desktop
    Computer: http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsdt_420

Apparently, though, it proved to be unpopular as it was removed from the XPS 430, which shares the same case as the 420.

Although I would normally say Google is the answer, this reply proved my point as SideShow being a feature no one knows =)
