    Hi -

When I boot up Vista everything is fine. However whenever I game, and alt-tab back to my desktop, the sidebar does not show. It will only show up however if I run a program outside the game. How can I fix this? Or is that normal behaviour?

No. That's not the reason why...
It's because you are alt-tabbing to the Desktop and it hides EVERYTHING besides the desktop. When I alt-tab from a game, my dock, rainmeter stuff and everything is hidden. It's the same thing as "Show Desktop"
You can see that Sidebar is still running if you check processes.

I think there is no way to prevent it. It really only shows the desktop when you Alt-Tab
