Well, having a new laptop with built in camera and dual mics, I was looking for a program to video conference with my kids when I'm away on business.
After trying to configure Skype, and getting Skype to work but not with the video, I went searching somemore on the web.
Came across Sightspeed... video conferencing software, they offer a free componant.
The program tests and sets up your video camera and mic on setup, and was very easy to configure! Also, the software seems excellent, providing an image which (most of the time) isn't blurry, and the video and audio stay in sync!
Just thought I'd mention this program, in case anyone else has recently gotten a new laptop with built in camera, and wants a free option to video conference with your friends and family!

Thanks, I personally prefer somthing like netmeeting or msn messanger. Something you know the person on the other line has. You however will benefit from this by video conferencing with your kids and family.
Wish you all the best while you're away from home.
Sightspeed.... cool!
