I've been having a hell of a time trying to find a simple video editor for XP. All i want to do is cut certain parts of my movies or video files, and save them as their own video file.
THATS IT! i dont want to do anything else. i cant seem to find anything that does this. maybe im not searching correctly or maybe im just a friggin idiot.
Windows movie maker wont recognize the files im trying to add, and even if it did, i was never happy with the quality WMM spit out.
I'd really prefer a free, open source program. but a cheap pay for software that does it will do as well.
I dont know if any of you are familiar with the MP3 editing software called Audacity, but if there were a video version, i'd be in heaven!
please help!
