This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Download MSI Installer without bloatware (No Click to Call, No Skype Updater which never works anyway, no Bing Toolbar, no MS Homepage)

    Always use the latest version, but download via the above link, it downloads the installer without the bloatware

    then after installing it, go to options, disable Skype Wifi then go to Privacy then uncheck Micro$h4ft targeted ads
