    Sleep Probs On Dell Stud xps 16 7 64 bit

    This is just driving me nuts. I have installed all the beta builds up to the current rc 7100 64 bit on my Dell Studio xps 16 of Win 7. Everything is fantastic but for one thing: my machine will not go to sleep. I have unplugged everything.Save the power cord and it STILL will not go into sleep. I am running the ATI 3670 Radeon Catalyst release suite. 9.5 would not take so I restored back to 9.4. Running in "Balanced mode". via the Vista guide that seven forums ports one 2. Please help me out. I know that is sad but the time has come to beg.

    I had to update GPU drivers from an alternate siurce-- it didn't go to slepp, it just shutdown.....

    Yeah. It turns out that the day after I checked and went into trouble shoot mode Dell had released the A7 bios. Flashed it and problem solved.
