    Hi

Is there any program where you can set the time for your computer to either shut down or go into sleep mode? Say a count down timer or a set time? Sometimes i fall asleep with the computer on my stomach with one time the blanket covering up the side intake and cooking the laptop. Dont want to make the same mistake again with my new laptop.

    Thanks

Windows can do that without any special program. Just go into Control panel > Power Options and configure the laptop to standby or hibernate after X amount of minutes of inactivity. There are options for both plugged in and on battery.

edit: there is also this website that has a program listed as well as batch files you can use.
