Hey all, I just installed Slingplayer after my buddy in San Francisco installed the Slingbox Pro w/HD Connect and Tivo (currently disabled). Streams beautifully without any skips, and the audio is awesome. That is one slick, incredible setup!!

Anyway, this is where Media Center should shine, right?? I want to use it to watch and record TV shows using the Slingbox...The connection is great and everything, but the quality is a bit lacking. I JUST started with this, so I'll likely have to tweak everything, but how do I chain in Media Center??? My friend said to screw Media Center (whatever, he's a Mac guy lol) and to use his Tivo to record shows. For one, it's not active yet, BUT I'd rather use Vista's Media Center anyway...

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

On another (side) note, by playing around with Media Center in an attempt to get it to "see" the Slingbox feed, I discovered TVTonic and installed that as well. This looks super cool, too! Anybody use it??

    Thanks all... :)

The SlingBox program by itself does nicely in controlling the box and inputs connected to it remotely. Only one user is allowed to view at any given time. If you have the Admin password you can disconnect the other user if you want to watch.

Right, and I know about the one user limit, but how does that have to do with what I'm trying to do with MediaCenter? Just wondering. ;)

Anyway, it's just that I would LIKE to set up the Slingbox "feed" through Vista's Media Center...is there any way to do this??

One more thing. The Slingplayer cannot record shows, can it?

    Thanks again!! :)
