I am wanting to do a complete reinstall of My windows Vista Instillation, but I don't wish to spend the hours upon hours reinstalling all the programs I use. Without the imaging solution that is brought up quite frequently on the web, is there a way to slipstream certain programs, such as antivirus, anti spyware, and the such into a windows Vista Boot disk? I am more interested in getting as much installed in as little amount of time, but with the instillation disk being modified. This I know seems pretty technical, but any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I use a utility called vlite ( http://www.vlite.net/) to slipstream drivers and service packs into vista. I think it should work fine with the application slipstreaming also (not sure since applications have many other preferences to be set during installation). however worth a try.

Another solution is to use the Acronis true image to mirror ur fully installed drive and use it later. This may require an external hdd.

Thanks for the suggestion kuncheesh, I will look into the vLite program. This I expect will address half of what I want to do.

I am trying to avoid mirroring the drive, but if vLite allows the addition of programs to an instillation then I am game. But i was hoping to find a more intricate way of doing it so I could manually do it and customize it.

Hence, if necessary create a multi-DVD set of 1 windows instillation and install the whole set from bootup.

But it was not just about removing, but adding programs to the installation disk, not just drivers. Any other suggestions?
