Hello I have a HP ZE-5730US whith celeron 2.8 GHZ and 512 of memory.I make the Super PI test and the results for 2M was 6 minutes and 28 seconds. I think this is very slow when compare whith other notebooks whith lower procesors speeds.I make practicaly everything to increase the speed but with no results.Any help?

    Hi,

    A couple of questions:
What speed is your Hard Drive (5400rpm, 4200rpm)?
How is your power and processor management set? Make sure that when you are running Super Pi, you have the CPU ramped up to full speed. If your system has your 2.8GHz CPU ramped down to 1.6GHz (or another lower than optimal speed), that will definitely affect it's performance completing the Super Pi task.

    Cheers,

    Stevo

Thanks for your response. The frecuency id test shows the processor speed at 2.8 mgz. I made my question based on the responce of others who have the same or similar notebooks. The time to complete the super pi most be between 3.25 to 3.50 and my notebook takes 6.28 or about double the time.
