Why does my computer start to feel dramatically sluggish when the RAM used approached 1.2GB and more (based on the task manager). I have 2GB of RAM so the computer shouldnt be using the pagefile.

Is it normal for Firefox to take 100MB+ of RAM?

I am running a Lenovo T61 with Vista Ultimate.

The ThinkVantage tools can slow things down a bit. You might want to rid yourself of the ones you're not using. Firefox can be a memory hog.

Look in the task manager and see what's eating the CPU.
Google the process name if necessary.
