    Testing this now.

First thing I noticed right out of the box which I don't like is the extension has no options with regards to what filters you want to use. Only the option to disable adblocking on a particular site.

Let's see. Will post my full impressions after using it for a while in terms of adblocking, breaking of sites, and overall speed of loading sites.

Adguard is still the most effective for me, both the extension and related Windows app. Their support has been outstanding in resolving issues with missed ads and/or sites that break with it enabled.

Been using this now for 10 mins, no broken sites yet and sites load a bit faster than with uBlock Origin. Didn't break any site yet.

will continue to report back my findings.

Been using this Adblocker for about an hour and a half and I must say every site I visit loads much faster. Really liking this so far.

Sounds like a variant of UBO that's been tweaked out of the box to work on most sites.

But since it doesn't have customization I'll stick to UBO for now.

    Hi guys
I am in smartadblock team and I am pleased to discover this forum thread. I hope you re liking it, there is a version 1.0.8 shipping soon with an improved popup blocking specially for some popular porn sites :) If you notice a bug please report it in r/smartadblock and we will fix it as fast as we can.
Regarding the lack of customization we will add custom filters in a few weeks, it was not our priority because 99.999% of users never add a custom filter, we want to create a great adblocker for them.
note that smartadblock also allow you to read quora and facebook without logging in, businessinsider prime articles, an unlimited number of nytimes articles... we work on adding more goodies like this.

    Hi guys
I am delighted to announce that SmartAdBlock 1.0.9 is now approved in Chrome Store and Mozilla Store, and we think it is really a great update, making it the adblocker with the lowest memory footprint ever :
-Optimized memory usage and fixed some memory leaks to make it officially the adblocker with the lowest memory usage (with a cookie list included and a popup blocker function!) (See chart attached, more charts on smartadblock.co.uk)
-Added an options page, it is now possible to add filters or filter URLs (even if we do not advise to do so, we prefer receiving error reports and correcting it for everyone)
-Fixed the popup&switch in some adult websites
-improved speed on some particular websites where issues were reported (google maps for example)
    -Slightly redesigned the popup
-Added a little loader to see when the extension is loading filters

Block Element on uBO allows for this too (most of the time). Seems like a cool App, although regarding "customization", do you mean limited to no settings? or no custom filters/rules options? Thanks!
