I'm just seeing that Snipping Tool "is not on my computer", as the error message says, when I try to run it...

And it' happening after last week's Windows updates...

    Did anyone else notice this?

And is there any way to get it back (even if it was not the windows updates which made is "disappear")??

    Thanks and cheers.

    Update:

Got it back.... by doing a < sfc /scannow >

I have no idea why it disappeared in the first place!!!

    Anyway. It's working fine now.

    Update:

It's gone missing again :( Ufff....

I just left work and shut down the laptop, and came home, start it up and it doesn't start anymore...

Is there some other serious problem that it keep' disappearing and what does it mean if it is "rescued" by doing a < sfc /scannow >?

I would like to have snipping tool working normally as before... Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Ah ok.. It was "PrevX with SafeOnline" that was the culprit..

Check here > When I try to use Snipping Tool I get a message stating that "The Snipping Tool is not working on your computer right now. Restart your computer and try again. If the problem persists, contact your system administer."__What can I do to fix this?__Tha

But still, I have been using PrevX for quiet some time now.. I wonder why this started disappearing only after this week' windows updates.. baahhhh.. Windows is, and will always be, an Enigma!!! Anyway, all is well now.

    Cheers.

Maybe you turned off "Tablet PC Components" in Windows Programs & Features.
Anyway, go to the control panel > Programs > Turn Windows components on or off, and then make sure that the box for Tablet PC components is checked.
