Seen plenty of these. It's not that MS Paint is necessarily a very good program, it's just that those artists are very good artists.

I doubt they're lying. If you get one of those really dinky little mice you can get significantly better control of your brush than if you got a more normal sized mouse. I was using one of those dinky ones before I got my own tablet (Though I'm sorry to say I'm nowhere as good as those folks XD).

Yeah, a good artist can use basically anything to create a master piece.

I use MS Paint most of the time for basic imaging and pixel manipulation; to draw simple diagrams or modify/enhance simple things. Despite what most others say, I think MS Paint, Calculator and Notepad are the 3 most valuable tools in Windows :p .

But there are always better, free, alternatives to Windows tools.. I use Notepad++ instead of Notepad for instance..

Gotta agree with the with everyone else. That's straight Talent. I couldn't do that with any program whether using a mouse, tablet or piece of paper.

    ditto oh phoenixfx.

notepad is so useful for..... taking notes! and some html work.
mspaint is great for quick screenshots and saving them. and just some random artwork. You just gotta familiarize yourself with alllllll the function

MS Paint would be ok, except it needs better gif and jpg file save features. GIF images are always spotty and jpg's look horrific.

I found paint.net a while back and was impressed. Just never took the time to learn it. Need to give it a try again.

My problem is that at work I can't install any software on my PC's unless it is self executable. So paint.net is out of the question unfortunately.
