Hi is it possible to setup a software based RAID 0 using Windows 7 RC 64bit ?
my mobo hasent got a RAID controller so this would be my only option.
I know with Windows XP Pro you could go into Disk Management and change all drives from Basic to Dynamic and then create a Windows based Disk array RADI 0 ( striped ). Windows 7 still has Disk Management and it looks like you could probably do the same, but I am not sure and would like to know if anyone else has had success in doing this ?
Sorry guys I have just found out that yes you can do it with Windows 7 its the same process as doing it in any other Windows OS

Hi
I saw ur post & was wondering if
found out the answer to the raid 0
cos i have AW m17 & tried to install the Windows 7
& 1 of my hard drived failed
& now i have reinstalled everything
& want to know if there are some drivers or software I need
before installing windows 7 ?
Please if you know do help -
You can do it, but...
1) OS can't be on a dynamic disk unless you're on a server version of the OS
2) All the risks (all data lost if 1 drive fails) of a RAID 0 with little to no speed gain
