I just purchased Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 and would like to make a backup (extra) copy of the disc. How do I do this?
    Thanks

    Roxio should do the trick!

ImgBurn, Read mode followed by Write mode.

ImgBurn is good yes...might be a little advanced for a newbie though!
With Roxio, he would just select "Copy" and get a blank disc ready.

My XPS 1530 I just ordered comes with Roxio Creator 10 DE (Dell Edition). Would this likely be able to copy the software program? Also, are there any safeguards built into a disc like Office 2007 that might prevent it from being copied?
    Thanks

That's great...if it can't copy the disc due to copy-write protection, Roxio will tell you before hand....So give it a try!

My HP comes with a program called "Sonic"-come to think of it, all my laptops came with this program--and the Disk Copy part of the software works perfectly if the origonal disk is not copywrite protected. Most of the cheaper Microsoft programs are not copywrite protected.
