Software for viewing active CPU C, P & T states?

Is there any software (that will work on Windows 7, 64bit) that can somehow view that all CPU power saving states are active and not disabled? Idling Power States (C-States), Changing CPU Frequency (P-States) and Throttling the CPU (T-States)?

I don't know what all states are used on what model CPU's, but I have an Intel Core i3, 350M myself.

I ask because ASUS told me to update the Intel INF driver to possibly help the "cpu whine" which I am just ignoring right now since it isn't too bad nor all the time. The INF driver they said to update to isn't listed on the ASUS page for updates for my laptop (U30JC) but is listed under WIN 7 64bit chipset drivers and is newer than the one listed for my notebook.

Now why I want to see active Power Saving States: I read that some people had reported that various updates released to solve the whine noise may have disabled a c-state and in turn reducing battery life. I just want to be sure any updates do not take that sort of shortcut at any point.

    Thanks.

Have not seen any. For ideas, look here: Linux tuning

Might want to drop an email or call to acpi.org
