I am looking for the software that the guy is using while he is designing his skis. There are a few programs he was using and I would love to have them.

Why don't you ask him and we don't help bypass paying for programs you need to buy to use. What your asking is going to something illegal.

Ski ad? What ad? Where's the link so that someone here may see it to find out exactly what you are talking about? You asked a question that is impossible to answer without more info. But, who knows what software if any, that he used to design his skis. Probably any good drafting software would do it. Autocad is one of the best.

I cannot find it now on youtube. Its airing a lot up here in Canada. It looks like 3 different programs he is using in the ad. I will try to find it so you can have a look. Maybe I can stop and zoom on the surface to see what it is.

If you're referring to the Surface Pro commercial, I'd have to assume they'll be MS's own software

Check out Sketch-Up if you're looking for a free alternative

If you're just generally talking CAD/design programs, there's a lot. You can look at SolidWorks, Fusion 360, OnShape, Vectary, TinkerCAD, SketchUp, SpaceClaim, to name a few.
