I was installing Quicken when I got one of those random hardware malfunction errors (blue screen). I booted back up (it's been working fine since), and tried to continue the install. Quicken keeps trying to uninstall the previous installation when I run the installer, but the uninstaller doesn't work because not all the files are there. Can I remove the Quicken entry from the registry somewhere maybe so that Quicken won't recognize the other failed installation?

Yes, that should work. I don't recall the exact directory, but you will have to look through your uninstallation keys (which are alpha-numeric 20+ character names) and see which has relevant information to the software you mentioned. Another thing would be to just use Ctrl+F to search for entries in the registry or try to use CCleaner to delete invalid keys.

I already ran CCleaner and that didn't work, but I searched the registry and found it. I can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks so much.
