I was in someone's office....(they had a mac) and they had huge screen with more than one page view open.......is this a mac thing or does windows offer a similar experience.......ex. read a document, have outlook open, and look for a plane ticket on expedia........what monitor size is recomended?

Any suggestions for LCD monitors (assume budget is 1500-2K)

If you put all your apps in windows (not maximized), you can right-click the task bar and click tile. Is that what you meant?

As far as monitor size, it's more about the resolution than the size - the higher the resolution, the more info you can get on-screen, but the smaller it will be (at it's default settings).

Ahh, so you want a large enough monitor so you can have multiple windows open? I'd suggest anything 20" or over. If you want to have documents side by side, I'd suggest a wide screen. For brands, look at Dell, Acer (Buy.com), et. al. May I ask where you're from?

Me neither. My PC at work has some type of 'virtual desktop' software that's part of the Nvidia drivers/software, but I haven't played much with it, and I'm not sure exactly what it does...
