Does anybody have any problems with software that doesn't support Windows 8, but on Windows 7 it works just fine? I am willing to buy a new laptop with Windows 8 on it using PS3 Media Server and I read it would not work on Windows 8.

I can't comment directly on your software but the migration to Win 8 has not run into a lot of software compatibility problems for me. I suspect the basic OS kernel is very similar as most software will work with it. I did have to do a lot of work downloading new drives however but for the most part they were available.

The challenge with Win 8 is whether it is worth it to updrade. Based on a new computer, I think I would go ahead with Win 8.
