Is there any freeware that can work like norton ghost? I got two partitions on my hard drive, I want to backup the partition with Windows XP on it to my other partition so that I can restore it if needed. What program can do this? I also wonder if it is possible to restore it even if I change partition size or hard drive etc. Thanks.

Unfortunately Acronis isn't freeware. However for the $49 online I'm sure it is worth it.

I use Symantec Ghost 8 with a boot cd and burn directly to DVD's to create images. It does take a lot longer since the ghosting is DOS based and only burns @ 1x instead of 16x that my burner/disc supports.
