Does anyone know any good software to draw UML 2.0 diagrams like use case diagram, activity diagram etc- other than Rational Rose?

Before the answer is google, I like to know/recommended by people who has experience or knowledge of the software. Thank you. :)

    LOL...

My wonderful flatmate just popped in to see this and said that he has used "MagicDraw" and "Edraw Soft"... and that he would prefer MagicDraw on any day!

He' a software / IT pro by the way, if it may help :)

*sorry I personally have no idea about these things*

Wish I could help. UML is one of those evil things that end up causing more problems than they solve, IMHO ;) The only UML-like program I have ever used is called Dia, mostly since it's open-source and legally free and does everything I've ever needed it to do. But it doesn't look like it supports UML 2 yet.

Another edit: Looks like StarUML might be something to check out: http://www.osalt.com/staruml
