i am not a fan of E3 software as it seems to be a waste of space and quiet buggy and laggy

however, there are some programs i would like to be able to run right off my usb so that i dont have to run on people's computers (when doing diagnostics or cleaning)

ideally, i would like to have these programs accessible from my USB stick w/o having to install on the host computer:

-ccleaner (i love this tool and it has solved so many problems for a lot of people i've used it for. also has a mediocre registry cleaner that is more than enough for what i need to do)
-avg/nod32 (or any GOOD but SMALL resource hog anti virus scanner)
-cpu-z (to monitor or check ram blah blah)

any help would be greatly appreciated. i currently keep these files within rar files on my 1gb cruzer and have to copy over, than unrar, than install to run these programs. want to eliminate a couple of steps. TIA NBR!

Maybe a cheap notebook and just run the program from there and scan the computers your working on over a network? something to that effect.

thanks for the option, but im basically thinking about the scenario where i dont have my laptop with me or its just an on the stop diagnosis or clean up, which is why i need this stuff all on the USB drive.

so far im still having to install ccleaner. even though its a great program for everyone, sometimes the system-to-be-cleaned is so stuffed w/processes that i can barely get ccleaner to install, except in safe mode

I don't really find U3 bloated. If it works, it is actually a great idea. Plus, there is ccleaner for U3 :p

the actual ccleaner? if so....that would be the only reason i'll grab u3 back on...

is there a stripped down version of u3? it came originally on my 1gb sandisk cruzer...
