This is really for advanced people only, being a rare issue.
My PC only works from battery power. If I plug it to the wall it will work, but only while the battery is charging. Once its done the PC will shut off, because the motherboard lost the ability to use the power from the adaptor (after checking a lot of stuff, I´m pretty sure of it).
So my option now, is every one hour or so, connect and disconnect the adaptor power, so it´ll constantly run from batteries, and they wont run off.
I wonder if there might be a software that can cut do that automatically, cutting the power and giving it back every some defined time.
Thanks.

Perhaps this will work.
Download devcon
Write a batch script to turn on and off the Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery in device manager.
The battery will stop charging when you disable that.
You can tell it to automatically re-enable charging method by setting the script to enable it at low battery level in the power manager in windows.
If you're good at programming, you can tell the program to turn off "Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery" when the the battery charge reach specific value. -
Alright, thanks. I'll try it.
