This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    It's been around for a long time. If you read the reviews people give to these free software you'll know that they're mostly negative reviews. There are free and open source software that do a better job than the ones found on Giveaway of the day. Also, there was once a period of time when every week they gave out a so called "3D screen saver" but due to criticisms from people I think now it's gotten better. Even though I don't really appreciate the software they give out there, if you look every day you'll see that once in a while they do and did give out good software like Alcohol 120%! :D Don't expect to find Photoshop though lol...

    Yes, once in a while there are some GEMS there. I keep it in my RSS feed reader just so I can keep up with what they offer.
