Hey Guys,
Got a question about running solidworks 2007.
I'm not sure if the program has issues with my computer (m1330 with the 8400GS card) or with running in Vista.
When I highlight certain faces or edges, the video glitches.
I have it installed on my XP desktop with a GE7950 and it works fine.
Anyone with an experience?
Thanks

Update video drivers? I'm using Inventor on my 1520 and I have no problems. I'm using the latest drivers from laptopvideo2go.com.. the 169.09 vista 32-bit driver.

Any suggestions to allow SolidWorks 1999 (I know it's old) to run on Vista (VAIO CR series laptop)? Thank you in advance for any input.

o i just realized how old this post was. but you could try that too huf -
I dont have that issue with Solidworks. Uninstall drivers, use Driver Cleaner Pro, and reinstall drivers.

YUp install lastest drivers for Vista.
Old ones (wicdh probably came with the computer) have non to crappy openGL support. -
Thank you very much! Right click on SW icon -Properties-Compatibility-Disable desktop composition. Has worked for SolidWorks 1999! -
Hey, I didn't want to make a new post since I have just a small question:
