    Hey Guys,
Got a question about running solidworks 2007.
I'm not sure if the program has issues with my computer (m1330 with the 8400GS card) or with running in Vista.
When I highlight certain faces or edges, the video glitches.

I have it installed on my XP desktop with a GE7950 and it works fine.

    Anyone with an experience?
    Thanks

Update video drivers? I'm using Inventor on my 1520 and I have no problems. I'm using the latest drivers from laptopvideo2go.com.. the 169.09 vista 32-bit driver.

Any suggestions to allow SolidWorks 1999 (I know it's old) to run on Vista (VAIO CR series laptop)? Thank you in advance for any input.

I dont have that issue with Solidworks. Uninstall drivers, use Driver Cleaner Pro, and reinstall drivers.

YUp install lastest drivers for Vista.

    J-dogg,

Thank you very much! Right click on SW icon -Properties-Compatibility-Disable desktop composition. Has worked for SolidWorks 1999!
