Hello ... I've got three problems, and I need you guys to help me!
(look at sig for laptop specs - I use Vista premium)

First, whenever I turn on my laptop, I get this error message:

I have no clue what it is and what's causing it.

Secondly, I've been trying to install Adobe reader version 8.1. It installs just fine, but then when I try to open a PDF file, it gives me this error message:

I uninstalled and reinstalled it around two times, but it always gave me the same message. Right when I double click on a PDF file.

Finally, my touchpad has been acting up. Some days, my scroll bar (the very right side of the touchpad) works, then other days it stops working. Or it works for a couple of minutes, then stops working for a while. It's very annoying and I can't seem to find out what the problem is. I have Synaptics Pointing Device in the traybar (next to the clock) on all the time.

Please help! It would be much appreciated :)

Disable HP DIM from your startup. Start > Msconfig > Startup tab

Try using Fox-it PDF reader instead of Adobe. It is super lightweight and less annoying compared to Adobe
