I need to edit a video for school which is due tomorrow. Me and my partner used a semi-old Mini DV Sony Handycam (DCR HC21) to shoot it. I've had some trouble uploading the video to my computer using a USB cable. I know Firewire is much better, but a USB cable is all I have and as I said before, the project is due tomorrow.

Sony decided to be really mean and not support USB streaming for Windows Vista, so I had to follow this guide right here for it to work. http://www.camerahacker.com/myink/V...ecting Sony Handycam to Windows Vista Via USB Problem is, I accidentally hit "Don't install the driver software" when the prompt came up saying "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software." I have tried restarting the process, but that prompt hasn't come back up again so I can't install the driver. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Use the "Have Disk" method for installing the driver. Locate the (example.inf) inf of the driver and let Vista use it to install the driver.
