I'm going to buy a Sony Vaio VGN-SZ35B/B here in Japan this weekend. It's a little weak from the specs but I think for the things I will use it it's perfect.
I want to convert it to english Vista, though.
Is it possible to convert to a Sony Vaio VGN-SZ35B/B to english Vista, has anyone actually done it with all workin drivers? Especially, won't the dual-graphics-card thing make problems?
Could anyone point me to a page with the english drivers for the Sony Vaio VGN-SZ35B/B?
Recovery: if s/th goes wrong, how can I recover? I think the Sony Vaio VGN-SZ35B/B has only a recovery partition, there are no recovery CDs - how do I start the recovery process for the japanese Vista, just in case?
Thank you so much!

Drivers can be used in any langaue. On my japanese vostro 1500 i run half english drivers since they wernt upgraded.
As for switching it to english the best way would be to get vista ultimate and change it with a patch that microsoft offers. One thing to note. Using a japanese keyboard on an english os is wonky and a total pain. -
Thanks, for your input. Still, does anyone know where I can get the english drivers for the Sony Vaio VGN-SZ35B/B?
Also, how do I start the recovery from the recovery partition?
Thanks!
